Felix the cat has infected wounds, needs funding for climbing medical bills

Felix’s tail was hurt about a month ago and needed an amputation surgery, after that was done, he was being active and was jumping about and I took it as a good sign but his surgical wound opened up because he was clumsy and I had let my guard down for a minute, the clinic flushed it and got it stitched up again but it got infected...to the point that it was tunneling and the sutures were scabbing and falling off leaving him with an open wound once again. We’ve switched clinics since and they’ve tried to clear his infections and got to stitching up his wound again, all was well until I noticed a weird patch on his left flank when he came back from the surgery and brought it up to the vet and it puzzled all of us as we can’t find the cause and had to narrow down the possibilities by running tests for FIV/FELV and one for white and red blood cells, he is FIV/FELV Negative and his blood looked pretty normal. He has delayed wound healing most probably due to all the stress he’s been under. After today’s visit, the vet has told me, the sutures are not really holding up great and there is slight discharge from it and also his side is going to take a while to heal, she told me it might take months because it’s quite big and we need to soak and remove the scab bit by bit as well as antibiotic injections everyday until he gets better. I’m still a student, working part time and as much as I can now to support us and I have previously put up a donations campaign in hopes of relieving Felix’s medical bills and it helped so much and now I’m afraid I have to make one that has no deadline, only up till he gets better I guess. I’m already doing the best I can for him and as much as I could. I really feel so helpless and I’m so worried and afraid that he’s suffering and I can’t even do much 😔 but we’re still hoping for Felix’s recovery and will not give up on him as long as he has a fighting chance.
