Farmers Are Front Liners Too

Given the challenge of Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ), many front liners are working hard to fight this crisis- despite knowing that their own lives are at risk. Our farmers are front liners too, they produce and harvest food for us and they work hard to bring the food to our plates. Our farmers should never go hungry but the majority of them were greatly affected by the Enhanced Quarantine and for some, they only receive a minimum salary of P200. At this point, their source of income remains unstable and they’re still troubled by what awaits them during the extended period ECQ. Through the Feed the Farmers Initiative, our goal is to bring together people that cultivate hope and roots for these people, and through the donation drive, we’d like to bring more smiles to them by providing food assistance to them weekly.
