The Underprivileged children in Olomometa riverine rural community in
Nigeria need our help to survive living in poverty and hunger, these
children get exposed to
the harsher realities of life. They lose their right to emotional,
physical and social development and are likely depressed, low self
esteemed, lack of sleep and nutrition etc.
poverty and hunger is undoubtedly the major causes of this plight. During our repeated charity visits to few communities in "2014, 2015 and December 2018,'' (visit the gallery page of our foundation website: https://www.dcc-foundation.org/gallery-post/), based on our rough analysis, around 80 percent of children living in Olomometa riverine rural community in Nigeria, are unable to meet their basic needs of food, clothings and manageable shelters as they live in absolute poverty. Hunger and poverty to children means exposure to malnutrition, diseases, inferior living conditions, many other hardships. These children out there are not responsible for poverty but hardships are bound to befall them. There are many non-government organizations that are working towards poverty eradication, but the success rate is very meager. The reason is simply lack of people’s participation. Without people's active participation we can only achieve less, but more supportive hands can share the burden easily, We must work together to address the plight of underprivileged/Orphan children.
- We must all work collectively, to make the world worthy of its children.
If you are unable to support us financially, you can support by spreading our ideas to your friend and family. We thank you in advance for supporting our ideas and together and leave a child care legacy.
Poverty leads to hunger but ------------if we work together, we can create a world where no child goes to bed hungry.
