Feed the needy in San Pablo City: A Christmas Feeding Program

I've been a very blessed kid this year, and i am beyond thankful for that. I have been eating so much food everyday, i even get to eat out every once in a while. As a medical student, I see different faces everyday as i walk going to the hospital or my school, and I can see the situations of other people around manila, and whenever I go home to my province, the situation in some areas are almost always the same.

Nutrition is first and foremost the most important aspect in being healthy. Being in a medical field, it is my goal that each and every individual is healthy, not only through healing and medication, but also through prevention of some illnesses. And starting it with a good nutrition.

I was enlightened one night while doing some of my school work during a midterm examination week. I told my room mate, "why not go to areas where we are needed? why not start giving them nutritious food and give them some vitamins? Let's give them a very Merry Christmas!" and here we are, asking for your your help so that we could make this vision into something concrete.

Giving is better than receiving. <3

PLANS:

We were thinking of renting a place and giving out gifts and hold a "party" for them. With food, giveaways (vitamins, medications), and games and toys for some kids.

Hopefully, We will also have a booth or table for those who would like to have a medical consultation. but only limited to those who could pre-register and will be given a stub. Because we're still thinking of talking to some doctors who could be on site for that day. (This is still a vision. but hoping to make it into a reality).
