FEED THE HUNGRY IN THE GHETTO (SLUMS) OF KAMPALA,UGANDA:
Of the 45,741,007 people who live in Uganda of which 3,298,000 live in Kampala the capital city of Uganda,thousands of these people live in the slums of the city and in abject poverty including street children. This is no surprise as Uganda is one of the poorest countries in the world. Children of the slums and street children are very vulnerable and a multitude of them are ever hungry, because of this dire situation young girls and women are susceptible to sex abuse,child labour,kidnappings,child sacrifice rituals,and HIV/AIDs. Covid-19 has exacerbated the dire situation which is against the principles of the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights and the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs) especially goal 1:no poverty,goal 2:zero hunger,and goal 3: good health and well being.
Support Uganda Peace Foundation by making a DONATION to feed these vulnerable children and provision of basic needs like clothes,soap,sanitisers,powdered milk, etc, in the slums of Kampala,Uganda. A total of us $ 25,000 is needed. This will see them happy and experiencing meaningful life during the end of year festival season. It will also be a start of a PEACEFUL journey in their life.
Uganda Peace Foundation is developing a sustainable development program with partners in the United States for the actualisation of the concept of sustainable development which considers economic growth, environmental sustainability, and social inclusion which entails high social mobility whereby children born in poverty as the ghetto children in Kampala,Uganda can be able to escape poverty and live a meaningful,peaceful, and productive life as their counterparts born in rich families.
