Bottlebrush is an informal settlement, (slum area), which is in the heart of Chatsworth, Durban, South Africa.
Mission
Our vision is to build a Medical Centre for the HIV/AIDS patients and their families and to build an Orphanage so that we can provide the following:
• General medical care for those who are HIV positive
• Provide medication & general medical supplies
• Care of the children whose parents died of HIV/AIDS
• Provide love, care, and security for the children that have no parents

Description
Bottlebrush Community Outreach is a missions outreach pioneered by Dennis & Eunice John in September 2000, Senior Pastors of Good News Centre, Durban, South Africa. They started feeding 350 children one meal once a week, currently, 1000 children, are fed 3 times a week.
General Information
There are over 17.000 people living in one square mile radius and about 7000 are children. These children face many challenges, but the biggest challenges is a lack of food, the loss of their parents, the rising HIV infection rate and the lack of basic health care. There is not clinic available for them in this area.
Presently we are provided them with meals three times a week and we provide primary health care. We also train and equip the people with the basics of Primary Health Care; personal hygiene and good nutrition.
We have seen a number of children healed and their lives changed as a result of us praying for them, providing the health care and the nutritious meal we give them.
