Help me help myself!!!

Before I go into debt organizing my high school reunion, please donate for a good cause and for a great reunion.

The remaining funds will be donated to United Way to help homeless children and fund their education.

 The back story and why I am desperately asking for money...

Mountain View High School Class of 2003 has a 10 year reunion coming up on November 15, 2013. I volunteered to chair this wonderful event after several inquiries and interested parties asked if it was being organized and by whom. I graciously took on the challenge shortly after having my daughter. With less than a year to plan and very few people willing to help. A contract was started by a volunteer committee member who stepped aside after having a sudden death in the family, which left me to sign for the event. My signing of the contract left me to be responsible for $6,200.00. Prior to signing, I confirmed with all of the classmates showing interest, that they would still be interested and willing to participate and attend. I received a resounding, "YES - Let's get planning!" followed by a "Wait. We have to pay?" "The reunion is when!? I can't make it." or "I haven't decided if I want to attend," or "Let me see who is attending before I decide to attend," or "I can't come up with $65." While many commrades have been able to step up and pay for their reservation (some even paying well in advance), there are still several waiting to make up their minds, gather $65 for the reservation, or have declined. With that said, I am short $3,500, which is required to be paid by none other than ME! With a bit of pride and a LOT of desperation, I am now reaching out to the others in the community to save me from having to pay $3,500 from my own pocket. Please help me out in any way you can by donating $5, $10, or just $1. EVERYTHING COUNTS and is VERY MUCH appreciated.
