As you all know that this is a really tough time for all of us and so is for the street dogs in our society.
Many dogs have been deprived of food and shelter due to the coronavirus.
It’s been more than two months, me and some of my friends are very happy that we managed to feed 176+ street dogs daily in our society from all our pocket money and our family’s help.
But now that we are out of funds, we would request you to please help us out in this situation. It would be really great if you could help us, we will be glad.
Every being needs love and food more than all other needs. Animal-lovers appreciate that in these new normal times, our animals are desperate for us to continue to care for them.
Our animals are always happy to be homed, housed, adopted, rehabilitated. While they are with us, they are given in-house facilities such as operation theatre, blood testing and x-ray machines, ambulances and professional rescue groups.
We feed a highly nutritious diet to our rescued family of over 1200. An average adult dog at burdwan shelter loves to eat 800-100 grams of food every day.
Each month, we spend at least Rs. 2000 on every animal for shelter, food, medical and all other requirements to give him or her total care.
"We have made sure that we don't let any of our animals we serve go hungry or unattended even during extreme lockdown conditions. In fact, many more rescue calls have now started coming in,"
"I am finding it more and more difficult now because of what is happening in the present market due to the pandemic as well as what is happening due to the recession. I think we really need to make burdwan shelter self-sufficient".
Your donation* will keep the lights on. Literally. It will help us continue to care for each of the 1200+ animals for at least 1 (one) years through operational expenses.
Please donate a little, your small donation will make a big difference in these voiceless animal's life.
No donation will go unnoticed, as little 500$ can feed a dog for a month, and save them from the pain of starvation. Their fates rest in our hands.
