Fe and Nox’s Irish Getaway!

Hello Everyone! Thank you for visiting our honeymoon fundraiser!  For an unconventional couple, we would like an unconventional gift! You can keep your toasters, your crystal vase, and your faberge eggs! We would like for you to help us create an experience that will last longer than your thousand count Egyptian Cotton bedsheets (even though those are lovely bedsheets). We would love to be able to raise enough money to visit one of our dream destinations: Ireland. They say that travel is the best teacher, and boy do we have a lot to learn! I know what you're thinking, "What the heck are these girls gonna do in Ireland?" Happy you asked! 

What we've got planned

Day One: Board a long suffering flight to the land of Guiness. About 10 hours over the Atlantic or Pacific (see? told you we have a lot to learn) 

Day Two: Hopefully by this time we will be in Dublin, having checked in to a hotel and situated ourselves with a rental car. We intend on exploring the city, including a tour of Trinity College, The National BotanicGardens, and The Farmleigh House. Of course, inbetween every destination we intend on sampling the Irish goods. (psst...beer...we're talking about beer)

Day Three - Four: off to Killarney! Here we intend on particpating in the Ring of Kerry which is a two day complete tour of some of the most beautiful places in Ireland. We'll be getting back in touch with nature after our introduction to Irish Culture in trueIrishman fashion (psst..we're talking about the beer again) 

Day Five: Onwards to Clare where we will be renacting most of Lord of the Rings (just kidding...they filmed that in New Zealand) Actually though, Clare is home to the Cliffs of Moher, which were featured in Harry Potter and The Princess Bride movies.

Day Six: Next is Tipperary where we will be visiting the Rock of Cashel. If you're wondering what the Rock of Cashel is, it's not just any old rock. According to our friends at Tripadvisor, it's a "majestic medieval fortress now in ruins."We like majestic...make us feel fancy. 

Day Seven: Our final destination, Cork. Here we will be seeing the famous Blarney Castle in hopes of kissing the Blarney Stone. I mean...we'll be newly weds, we need all the luck we can get. 

Day Eight: Back to America. Don't cry, we weren't gone that long. 

This is a general itinerary of what we will be doing. We appreciate anything you can spare. This is what we would like for both our wedding and bridal shower gifts.
