FCA Music (For Christ Alone)

My name is Paul Cornelius. I am a musician/singer/songwriter from Atlanta, Georgia where I have been attending the Art Institute of Atlanta. I am a full-time Minister of Music at Providence International Church in Conyers, Georgia. I am also part of a church planting team for a new congregation called "New Destiny Christian Fellowship. At New Destiny we envision a diverse community of Spirit -filled disciples who are committed to the mission of Christ to make disciples. I am looking forward to being the Minister of Music and Music Director for this exciting ministry once we start services around June, 2013.

As a christian songwriter I am convinced that God has called us specifically to the purpose of winning souls and leading others to him. Satan has many christian artists and musicians fooled into believing that we have to compromise our faith in order to be successful, and that in order to win souls, we have to disguise our music and our appearance to look like the world. God has challenged me to believe that he is able to reach anyone he chooses no matter where they are. My job is to plant the seed through my music and testimony and allow Him to do the rest. I'm committed to not taking on the values of the world whether in appearance or subatance, but rather to stay true to the word of God and His call for us to be set apart. Yet I am fully committed to loving my fellow man and following the great commission to "go" and make disciples.

FCA Music is motivated my the acknowledgement that Christ is first in my ministry and purpose. As a songwriter, my desire is to write songs that speaks to peoples hearts and to whatever state or condition they may find themselves in, and to let them know that God loves them and so do I. My first song for this project is called "Here I Am" and is a testimony to God bringing me through and out os a situation I thought would be the end of me. We have produced a demo of the song and now need to do a professional recording.

I am seeking funds to support FCA Music, for the purchase of the equipment needed to have our own small recording studio system. Although I know that $5000 is not enough to fully fund this ministry, I'm truting God to make a way. But this will help get the process moving in the right direction. Our goal is to provide songwriting, recording, and publishing services, and to help other christian artist get involved with misitry without having to pay for it. That's not the way God intended for us to operate. We will also have a poetry division to encourage writers to explore their talents and allow them the opportunity to get thir work published. Live Praise & Worhip events wherever God opens the doors are part of our future plans as we grow and develop our team. I know this is a huge undertaking, but God has been preparing me all my life for this moment. He took me through many trials and test to get me ready, and now I understand.
