FATHER’S SURGERY (PROSTATE CANCER PATIENT)

Hi. My father, Jorge, 61yo, was recently diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and surgery is needed to treat him. As per the Urology, we will be needing 350K for it. I must admit that it would be really hard for us to raise that amount with all the resources that we have and even if we work 24hours a day. I have 6 siblings and the 4 of them are still studying.

Our life was never easy but my parents have been really hardworking, especially my father. He is a good provider and never a chance that we see him get tired even though we know he does. He tries to conceal his true feelings and trying to be strong for us, his family. He may not be a perfect father but he loves us, his children, unconditionaly and that is more than enough. He sacrificed a lot for us and has done everything just to give us a good life.

We got the results of the Biopsy the day before his birthday. It was the most heartbreaking news we ever received in our lives. But here he is, fighting and still being strong. We, too, are being strong for him. We want him to be well and live longer so we can still make him feel how much we love him and how proud we are because he is our father.
