Father and Current Graduate Student in Need of Help

Let me begin by stating that my son and I are in desperate need of financial help. I am the proud father of a 6 year old (almost 7 year old) son who lives with me, and is the center of my world. I am also a current grad student at the local State University, and I am graduating in 4 months. The problem is that I cannot find a full-time position. I currently work 3 part-time jobs that are “as needed” positions, meaning I work when there is work. In the past, I have been able to keep my head above water working these 3 jobs. However, this year the work has slowed down and I have been falling behind in rent and utilities. I live meagerly, renting a small apartment and only spending money on the necessities. And I’m fine with that. The problem is that those necessities have become too expensive, and my son in I are in danger of having our electricity turned off and being evicted if I fall too much further behind on the rent. I am optimistic that once I graduate I will be able to find full-time employment that will fully cover all our necessities. I have been networking and I’m getting a lot of interest, however, it has not materialized into a permanent position yet. Still, I am optimistic that it is only a matter of time. With only four more months left until graduation, I am worried that everything around me will crumble before I reach the finish line. All I really want to do is get caught up on rent and utilities so I can cross the finish line, and provide a better life for my son. I don’t want to put him through the stress of having the electricity turned off or being homeless (especially so close to his birthday). I don’t even know what we’d do… Anything would be helpful, and I would be eternally grateful for that help. Thank you so much!
