Campaign Story
On March 14th 2016 I started a personal weight loss/fitness challenge called #fatgirlslim_365. I have battled eating disorders including bulimia from an early age been very overweight for all of my adult life and morbidly obese in more recent years so I decided I had to take some action after finally realising the only person who can make me lose weight and get healthy is me!
Along with daily exercise and healthy eating I also know that I will need surgical intervention to maintain any long term weight loss. I have fought with the NHS for over 9 years now to be accepted as a candidate for bariatric weight loss surgery however due to the ever changing and restrictive criteria I have never reached the stage of even being considered as a candidate.
I understand that opinions will differ on this subject but my plan is to save as much money as possible towards getting the weight loss surgery that will ensure I keep what I lose off and hopefully give me the possibility of having a baby in the future once my health & fertility has improved.
If you feel my cause is deserving and can afford to donate I would be very grateful and 5% of anything I receive will be passed on to b-eat.co.uk which is a charity supporting anyone affected by eating disorders.
Thanks in advance for your support, I really appreciate it xxx
