“Furrst Step for a Furrever Home ” Fastenal Fundraiser for Animals Need Us, Brasov – Romania

Started in 2011 as a NGO, A.N.U fights against animal cruelty and rescues dogs, cats, birds, horses and other animals from abandonment and dangerous situations.

The association conducts programs for spaying/neutering and for educating the population on animal rights and animal awareness.

Currently in Romania the main causes for the increased strays population are: abandonment, lack of paying/neutering programs, absence of governmental involvement (no laws directed to this issue, no legal protection for the strays etc) and many more.

Due to recent bad weather conditions in Romania, one of the ANU shelters were flooded - leaving all the volunteers in need of support for rebuilding/improving the existing conditions.

Furrst Step for a Furrever Home is the project dedicated to raising the funds necessary to rebuild the shelter, allowing A.N.U volunteers to continue saving animals and preparing them for their new families.
