In 2012 we opened a farm growing Bell Peppers in the Arava Desert in Israel. What we have created is simply incredibly, no where else in the world are people farming in the desert like we do, unfortunately due to economic issues within Europe and Russia we have seen the prices we earn fall dramatically. We require 4.5 shekels a kilo for us to pay wages and continue our project. In 2013/14 season the average price was 3.7 shekels a kilo and for the current season it is currently trading at under 3 shekels a kilo. I have a wife and 2 small children and I have no idea how we can continue our dream.  In the last 3 seasons I have built net houses for the peppers to grow, a sophisticated water system for irrigation and built a house for my employees to live in together with tractors and trailors. Without continued donations we will not be able to keep farming and producing vegetables for exporting around the world. Please donate  with your heads and your hearts. My vision is to grow everything  under the glaring desert sun and not just make the desert green but make the desert every colour in the rainbow.
