Del fresh limited is a company that meets the insatiate demand for quality passion fruit in the global market. It is a startup company which exports passion fruits to international markets. At Del Fresh we will grow a certain percentage of our produce at our farm while the other percentage is produced by partnering with small scale farmer in local villages in Kenya.

Our goal is to develop a horticultural product based business to meet the demand of passion fruit in a global market by increase production of quality passion fruits in Kenya and empower local farmers by partnering with them. We will be educating them on how to grow and train passion fruit vines, manage their orchards, control of pest hence production of quality juicy fruits.

My startup aim is to not only to grow the passion fruits alone but to contract local farmers as well. I will provide them with free training on how to grow and tend passion fruits vines, I will be monitoring their progress using a special farm management software. My company website will be freely accessible and our help desk will be ready to assist farmers instantly.

We will also be holding monthly meeting whereby all farmers can meet and interact freely. With my team of experts will also be visiting the firms on monthly basis in order to be fully involved with our farmers as they will be playing a key role to our growth. In return I will buy their produce, brand them and ship them abroad for a greater value.

With Del fresh limited, we are going to revolution Agribusiness Kenya, create more employments and improve living standards of many Kenyans at rural areas.As student of both entrepreneurship and business management, I have been able to accumulate relevant skills and knowledge in Human resource management, Strategic management, Financial management, Marketing management, Research techniques among others which play a vital role in building an and managing an entrepreneurial venture.

According to USAID passion fruit farming is the most lucrative agribusiness as compared to other plants. It’s also worth to not that Kenya and Africa at large boost of arable land as a resource this provide the necessary requirement to venture into agribusiness. With my company, I will be able to empower millions of farmers both young and the old. I believe I will be able not only to solve the problem of unemployment in the country but also boost the health of many individual in the world. It is my dream to one day open a processing firm and add value to the produce and become a market leader in production of organic juice. The future looks bright for Agribusiness sector as the world shift to organic food.

Am are looking capital which will be used to finance further land cultivation and meet other farm expenses such as buying, Post, wires, sisal twin seedlings while the other percentage it will be used to finance our marketing plan, fees for website developement and hosting. As the founder and CEO I promise this project will act as the pace setter of the first farm of the many we are going to establish in the future. With my project I will be able to have a positive impact to the unemployed youths, Women groups and improve livings standards of people living in the rural areas.
