"Lets get married and do something good for the world, and start a massive family!!"  that isn't just an overzealous young adults dream - that is what my parents life together summed up in a short sentence, just might phrase it. Now, a bit further along the line they have 8 kids living in Australia, Malawi, England, France, Netherlands, Germany and Italy, whilst they continue running the charity they started up together - Care in Action (see www.care-in-action.org) - in Ukraine. That is until earlier this year, when my Dad was diagnosed with a rare cancer.  My parents continute to amaze me as I see them face this challenge with a positive mindset and a brave heart. They have dedicated their lives to making the world a better place, with no garantee of their security. Starting in Nepal, and working in India, the Phillipines, Argentina, Slovakia and now since over a decade, in the Ukraine, they have done everything possible to better the physical and mental lives of those around them. Now my dad needs help. In June this year, he was diagnosed with the rare soft tissue cancer Leiomyosarcoma. This scary and unpredictable disease gives us a 50% chance of having him with us in the coming years. Us 8 kids, 4 of which are currently students, and 3 of which have their own families, want to come and visit Dad and Mum for Christmas in Germany where he is currently receiving treatment. Help us crazy lot get together for Christmas, with families and partners in tow for the first time in over a decade! Dad has helped others all his life. Now he needs help.
