Famine Appeal Tharparkar Pakistan

Severe drought continues to make life miserable at Tharparkar, Sindh Pakistan. The numbers of malnourished children are increasing all the times. According to the latest report, increasing the death toll to 49 in the past 38 days. 432 children have passed away on the last 11 months in District Tharparkar due to malnutrition and lack of health facilities. After the increasing deaths of children now mothers started suicide due to depressed situation.

Challenge

Tharparkar Sindh Pakistan been facing the drought like situation since last three years and every year many children die due to non availability of food and health facilities, This year 432 children have passed away on the last 11 months in District Tharparkar due to malnutrition and lack of health facilities. The latest victim of the drought was a 12-day-old baby who died at Chachro die to last of medical care.

Solution

The situation needs quick attention from the government as well as all NGOs. FRDP Pakistan has been serving the area since the beginning of the crisis. FRDP Proposing the food distribution the drought affected communities to save there lives, because due to current situation there food stocks have been finished and people striving for the food, we have proposed for food for 15 days and 30 days per family and need your support to respond the emergency situation.
