Family will do you wrong first.

I am a disabled Man, and my Family preyed on my disability. It all started in 2011 when my Father was killed. In 2014 the Kern County Sherriff Department settled our wrongful death suit against them. My older cousin, who is a businessman, advised me that I have to spend my portion of my settlement in 30 days or I would lose my Government benefits. Trusting in his word I allowed him to purchase my home in his name. Since then I have asked countless times for paperwork and to be placed on the deed. He would yell and curse at me knowing that it would tick my anger and then he would hang up in my face. In 2018 I found out that he refinanced my home and put it in his wife's name. I obtained a lawyer, and a demand letter was sent to my cousin. Now that he has the demand letter asking that I be put on the deed he served me with a 3 day notice. And a 60 day notice to vacate tenancy. The lawyer we have found will not take our case based on a contingency agreement. So I am for help so that we can obtain the lawyer and recover some of our loss.
