Family Vehicle

Hi everyone. 6 months ago I had to travel 250 miles for a doctor appointment for my daughter and on the way home it ran out of oil. I checked into getting it fixed right after it broke down and I was quoted $8,000 on the high end to fix it. And I'm still paying for the car. So I bought a cheap truck in the mean time to get me back and fourth to work. But now I work to pay the bills while my fiancee stays at home and watches our daughter. And my truck is close to braking down and don't know what I'm going to do when it brakes down. I want to try to get my car fixed before my truck brakes down. Some people told me that it wasen't worth fixing but I still owe $17,000 on it and I believe its worth fixing. We have more doctor visits coming up in May and would like peice of mind knowing I will be able to make without breaking down.
