Hi, I'm Mrs. Jeneth Epistola a Mother of two daughters one is a 9 yr old girl and the other one is 9 months old baby she was born this May of 2020. I'm working in Dubai for the past 6 years and my husband for the past 12 years. When Covid-19 become a pandemic our company decided to force resigned some of the staff, I and my husband were one of them. It is a sad moment for us we did not expect this to happen.

I did not receive any gratuity from my company because of my liability from the bank. My Husband's gratuity mostly paid for his credit cards, my daughter's one-year tuition fee, and enough for us to survive for a few months, especially for my newborn baby.

We bought our house last 2018 and we have a 15 years contract with the real estate. When the pandemic starts last March of 2020 I wrote a letter from the bank to give me a deferment for 6 months. It's good that they acknowledged my request so when my husband got his gratuity he paid for it for one year because we don't know when we will be having a job again so at least our payment is secured. Where planning to go back this December 2020 to our country but unfortunately, our house is not completed yet and we don't have enough money to do so. All we want is security for our family when we settled in.
