Hi, My name's Nick and I'm looking for donations to, ultimately,  provide financial security for not only myself, but my wonderful girlfriend, Kerri, and my amazing 2 year old daughter Ivy. To do this there are 2 things that I need to do, which is what the donated money will go towards. This is going to take a while but I want to fully explain, so please be patient with me. Firstly, I shall use a small amount of it to pay off some outstanding debt that is looming over me. Some may think to themselves "why should I donate money to pay off somebody else's debts?". My answer to that is what I plan to do with the rest of the money and serve up a slice of humble pie.  This may seem VERY long winded, but I want to fully explain the situation and how it will help, so I beg you to persevere until the end that so you may fully understand.  First off I'll explain why I'm looking to use some of it to pay off my debts.  When I was younger, I didn't really have any guidance when it came to money. I was always told that the harder you worked the more money you got, which I found to be near on true, but I was never told what I should really be thinking about doing with it. As a result I spent all the money I got on material things that I thought I needed; the latest media player, computer games, dvds, things like that. I never really looked to the future to think "I should save some of this". When I got promoted at work I needed a more reliable car, so I took out a loan, and then it went all downhill from there. I discovered the wonders of credit. Eventually I got a credit card which I maxed out and I fell behind on my loan payments, to which I was ignorant of the damage it would cause later in life. In the end I had to take out another loan to pay off my current one and the credit card balance. Again I fell behind on the payments for that loan, and then I met my girlfriend, who is very careful with money. After a couple years of being together she started to rub off on me and I decided to take control of my finances, however the damage was done. With little choice I entered into a repayment plan which I'm still in 3 years later, and I regret it all every single day. Nowadays the only time I spend money is on a birthday, or on the weekly shop. And that is only what we need. With that longer than intended story out in the open, I'm now going to explain how paying off my remaining debt will help my families financial security which will mean another little story.  When I was very little, and my parents were still together, my father owned his own business as a signwriter. Me being me, I was always curious as to what he was doing and how he was doing it. As a result, by the time I was about 5 or 6, I was pretty much a fully trained signwriter.  I was able to set a cutter plotter to cut vinyl graphics through a computer,  I was able to 'weed' the cut graphics, back it and apply it to almost any vehicle or surface. Although I never quite mastered the curtain sides on an articulated trailer until I was older. As I have these skills which are currently wasting valuble space in my head, I want to make full use of them. With the remainer of the money I am planning on becoming a self employed signwriter, working around my current full time job. I am planning on selling custom graphics online and also provide a service to local businesses to 'wrap' their vehicles in cut vinyl graphics.  You are probably wondering how paying off my debts will help? Well here goes, if business takes off then I'll be looking at going at it full time. With this brings the need for my credit to be good until the business gains it's own credit rating. If I can clear my debt, and start repairing my credit rating before I start signwriting, then in theory by the time I'll be ordering supplys in a quantity that I'll require it on credit, my credit rating will be repaired enough for me not to run into any problems.   Now you may see the 'require it on credit' bit and think "he'll just end up down the same path again". I doubt that will happen for 2 reasons: 1, I've made my mistakes and I've suffered more than I feel is necessary.  2, my girlfriend wouldn't let it happen. Although she isn't always on at me about money, she's like the little angel on my shoulder telling me to think twice about whether I need to spend the money or not. So to sum it all up, donations = paying off debt/buying equipment to become self employed, paying off debt=assists becoming self employed in the long run = self employed means more money and financial security for myself and my family, whether it takes off or not. If you've gotten this far then I have now finished, you will be pleased to know, and I thank you with all my heart for reading this all to understand my situation. Please donate that so I may provide for my daughter that of which I didn't have growing up. I thank you so very sincerely for reading this. Nick Rymell
