Family Rescue and Recovery!

This fundraising effort is for my family’s recovery. I've been employed a little over 3 out of the past 5 years due to lay-offs. These lay-offs involved hundreds of workers in multiple rounds. In one instance I was out of work for 18 months! I moved my family out of California to a lower cost region of the US and into what I had hoped was a more stable job, but thanks to sequestration, within 2 years I got hit again! I've recently become employed again, but I had to accept a lower wage in order to get back to work and prevent further financial distress.  

What has made it more challenging is I've got a child with ADHD and aspergers, or as it's refered to now, 'on the autistic spectrum'. I need to get him help to prepare for next school year. He had an increasingly difficult time in the first grade with social integration. The gap between him and his peers is widening. In his last two weeks at school, for the first time ever, he began hitting other students. In addition to the stress associated with that challenge, we have a new child due in under 2 months! Three car/booster seats won't fit in my car!

My own recovery efforts include working overtime and weekend shift, selling off possessions, and dismantling my retirement. I humbly request assistance for funding my family’s recovery effort. If I were to be able to get a newer vehicle, (newer than my 20 year old car) that can fit all the family would be ideal. Thank you for your consideration!
