Family of Five in Distress

I feel slightly ashamed to asked in a forum of this manner, but we're grasping at straws to survive as a family... We've been struggling financially for over a year now, ever since my wife's sick pay got cancelled. Since then she's been battling for her social insurance to step in, but we've hit wall after wall of bureaucracy and she's being denied time and time again. As of the past year we've been trying to cope on my part time salary alone - two adults and three small children between 18 months and six years of age.

Thing is, we might have been able to cope on my salary and social benefits, had it not been for the many loans we've had to take in the past five years or so. Since I'm the only one with a fixed income, all the banks turned us down. This means we've had to turn to more expensive creditors to be able to fix our home, buy furniture for a growing family etc. Now, when our income is at an all time low, the high interests are coming back to haunt us.

We're in a state of economical free fall, and we're only a few months from losing our home, our car, the children's security and safety, our marriage... My parents have helped as much as they can, but they're retired and don't have any more give us.

I'm writing this as a desperate father, trying to protect my family from imploding. Recently I was diagnosed with having a burnout, which means I myself is currently unfit to work, and I don't know when I'll be able to go back.

It feels wrong to the core of my being asking strangers for help, but I'm at my wit's end and I can only hope that there are people out there who are willing to help a family in need. Even if the goal of somewhat 20 000 euros isn't met, we have five high interest loans, and being able to pay off just one would mean a significant difference in our monthly income.
