Family of Five Affected by Fire Blaze

Hello! My family was affected by a PMD explosion that occurred directly below our flat, as reported in the news on 8th June 2018 at Canberra Street 104D. Our house is covered in soot, many of our electronic appliances melted away and almost all of our pillows, mattresses and bedsheets can no longer be used, like most of our clothes, towels, and kitchen appliances. My family earns less than SGD $2000 a month, and having to build our house from ground up is just too much on our finances. We are a family of five, and have been graciously given a temporary rental home nearby so as to give a roof over our heads, however the conditions there are basic and extremely hot, with no wifi and old used mattresses workers found downstairs.

Currently our house is still covered in soot, and we are working hard on washing and ironing all our clothes. However, there are tons to be done as seen in the pictures, our bed frames, mattresses, floors and everything we own are still covered in soot that is extremely difficult to remove. We were hoping by creating this page, we could reach out to the community and ask for gracious help. We really do not have enough to rebuild our lives from scratch, and this incident has inconvenienced all of us. My mother and brother were also directly affected by the blaze, and were admitted to hospital on the day itself due to breathlessness and lightheadedness. My mother was also required to go for further heart and lung tests because of previous medical history, but because the tests were more than $400 in total, she told the doctors she couldn't afford it and did not do it in the end. My father, a Grab driver has not worked in the last week due to trying to settle things with Town Council and HDB, as well as work with my mother to wash the clothes, and my mother, being on a week long MC is on unpaid leave due to still being on probation with her company. We are really, tight on cash.

Please, help our family out, we are in a desperate situation and would really appreciate if anyone could lend us a helping hand.
