3 young children, their beloved pets and two every tired and warn out parents need your support. With only one full time income in the household, the family has Struggled to survive paycheck to paycheck and will soon be faced with living in a hotel.

After being wrongfully evicted in july 2018, and brought to court and sued for back rent, the family has fought to maintain a comfortable living enviornment, after their landlord sold the apartment building. Being sure to pay rent on time, the new landlord failed to uphold his end of the responcabilities and never responed, or "failed to see" the familys email in regards to collecting rent. He also never told the family where to deposit rent. The family found out some months later that the new landlord was having tenants deposit their monthly (or weekly) rental payments into his personal bank account.

Dispite the family having all their back rent, $1450+ and over $3000 paid into the escrow account, the new landlord being given 30 days to get the apartment up to code, and obtain the certificate of occupancy before he could collect the familys rent from the escrow account, the judge still sided with the landlord because the family hadnt turned their evidance into the court properly. Today the apartment is still not up to code, and the family was given 14 days to vacate the apartment after having lived in the building for 3 years.. With no regards to the landlord breaking the law, or the city health inspector going against a direct cort order.

The family seeks to sue the new landlord for personal losses, landlord harrassment and months of mental diress as well as niglect and retaliation against the family for defending their rights as renters.
