Family of 4 needs donations for food and accommodation in Can Tho, Vietnam

We are an English Teaching couple from South Africa, we arrived in Vietnam in January 2020. Our school has been unable to secure accommodation for us or pay us any salary as we haven't started teaching with them yet and have no hours of work to claim. They gave us a Salary advance of 5 Million VND = 200 USD last month on condition that they keep our passports. We have two young children aged 2 and 4 years old. Currently living in a Vietnamese family house rent free but that will soon come to an end. Local Police gave us permission to stay until 23/03/2020. We have no money for rent and food, struggling to get work to teach online and our family members back home have taken up loans to assist us since our arrival and they are now out of money to send. Our savings are depleted. Parents are no longer booking 1:1 tutoring sessions which did assist us to have some weekly feeding money. We have tried every possible way to generate an income, we are registered in many paid survey sites and online data entry and typing platforms. These sites rarely give us work or projects to complete and we still haven't accumulated enough points for at least a $5 payment withdrawal.

All we are asking for is money for food and accommodation, the situation with the school closures has left us stranded and at the mercy of others. A helping hand is much needed. To at least raise enough money for 3 months rent and to buy enough food to last us a month. In Vietnam the trend is when you get a room or apartment to rent they want you to pay 1 month rent and a deposit worth 2 months rental costs; all in the first month of moving into the property. We have done our own financial analysis of our needs and the ideal amount we would appreciate to reach is $3000. Any amount of donations is welcomed and can go a long way to assist.
