Family needs reliable car desperatly

I'm here today because my family is in serious need of a reliable vehicle. The one we had is now completely dead. It never was reliable. Too many times I was on the side of the road crying next to a smoking car. I have recently went to one of my daughters custody hearings and the woman basically told me even though I have no car I am suppose to meet my child's father halfway every other weekend (2 hrs away). Every other weekend I am unable to do so and risk being held in contempt. I have had car problems ever since I have started driving. I have never had a vehicle that wasn't on the verge of breaking down. All I have ever wanted was a decent car that would take me where I needed to go. I was working two jobs one of which I can no longer work because it was further and now I have no vehicle. Also I had to drive to different houses during work. That was my high paying job. So now I'm making a lot less and unable to save. My credit is bad and the only place that will give me the time of day is Jd byrider but their car payments are very high. All I need is to find someone with a heart that can help me and my children I have been doing my best but have gotten nowhere. I'm a busy mom and NEED a vehicle badly.
