This fundraiser is to help the Stape family of Irwin, PA avoid foreclosure of their home.

The father, Mike, had to have open-heart surgery to have his mitral valve and aortic valve replaced, an ascending aortic aneurysm fixed and a bypass. The surgery, although successful, came with many complications including numbness, a GI bleed, and a severe infection. These complications have kept Mike out of work for over two months, and the family had worked out payment plans with all utility companies and mortgage company and everything was seemingly handled.

The family had then received a phone call saying that the mortgage company had sold their loan, and not even a week later they had received a certified letter in the mail saying that the house was being foreclosed upon unless they pay $5000 by the 14th of July. This family needs your help desperately so that they can keep their home so that the father can take the time he needs to heal so that he can get back to work. Their two adult sons, age 21 and 34, currently live with them along with the youngest sons girlfriend, age 20. The oldest son, Mike Jr., suffered from cancer as a child and it was a miracle that he had survived. Brandon, the youngest son, is an EMT and currently working three jobs and going to school and his girlfriend, Allison, is in the Army Reserves.

Mike, having been the primary provider, was making just enough money to cover all the bills with help from the two sons. Now that Mike is not able to work currently the family is in desperate need of help so that they can save their home until he is released back to work.
