As we were preparing to move to our new home in Pretoria East, we were duped by someone posing as a landlord. Despite our best efforts to secure a safe and stable living environment for our family, we found ourselves deceived and financially devastated.

The scammer disappeared after we paid a deposit of R6000.00, leaving us in a dire situation. As a result, we've been struggling to make ends meet and have accumulated debt that we never anticipated. This setback has had a significant impact on our ability to provide for our family, including our 6-year-old daughter, Adirah.

Adirah holds a special place in our hearts. We've been caring for her since she was just 3 months old, and she brings immense joy and love into our lives every day. Adirah was born HIV positive, and while she faces unique challenges, she is a resilient and spirited child who deserves the very best that life has to offer.

Despite the financial setbacks we've encountered, our greatest desire is to give Adirah the life she deserves—a life filled with love, security, and opportunity. We are in the process of adopting her officially, and we're committed to providing her with a stable and nurturing home environment.
