Campaign Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit our fundraising page.
This is a little boy…His name is Edik…He is 8 years old and has been living in an Orphanage in Belarus since he is 3 years old…His world is the Orphanage… He has never been living outside of the Orphanage in 5 years, he doesn’t know what it feels like to live in a family home…To feel the love and care of a loving family…
We have the chance to bring this little boy for the first time to a loving and joyful family home for 2 full weeks in the summer…
I am running the full (42 km) Barcelona Marathon on St. Patrick’s Day, Sunday 17th of March. It will be the first marathon I have ever run…for a good reason…for a reason that is very important to us - to raise funds to host this little boy…To give and bring him all we can in two weeks…These two weeks will give this boy an outlook that there is love and life outside of the Orphanage and that people do really care for him, and he is not all alone anymore…
If you can help us to do that, we will be extremely grateful. Your small change will make a BIG difference in Edik’s life. Thank you so much for your help.
