Please help us.

We are parents without a home with children.

We are one small family (Berislav, Mirjana and Sara) from Zagreb from Croatia. The one Zagreb who recently experienced an earthquake. We are forced to seek help this way.

This is our story:

Berislav and I have been living as subtenants in Zagreb since 1990. We changed a lot apartments as subtenant. We got married 1999. Finally, 2005. we bought small house with yard. We planned to build a family home in the same place. We were delighted because we would finally have our home.

When we needed to start building, our state passed a new law and that stopped the build throughout the state (Croatia). This law was valid about 6 years.

During this period, my husband lost his job and we got a baby Sara. Sara has been atopic dermatitis (neurodermatitis) with other allergy, therefore she need special nutrition. 2012. a gas bottle exploded in our small house and our small house burned (picture in attachment).

Now, Sara is 9 years old, my husband and I 50 and 48 years old. Husband does not have a stable job and we are afraid of our future.

Unfortunately, the bank cannot settle a loan for us, because of our age.

We realized: we cannot build the house with own resources.

We would very much like to avoid the embarrassment of asking publicly for money, but, we are forced to seek help in this way.

We invite all our donors to our new home, when will we build it.

Thank you in advance!

Mirjana
