Family fire victims

We came home after a long hard day of roofing in the Arizona heat to our house cautioned taped up dogs chained up to the tree nearby, and a local fire official and policemen. They stated there was a fire shortly after we left the house earlier that morning, we were not allowed in the house, we had no where to go. So the we grabbed the three dogs that were thankfully rescued by the neighbor who fought off the fire as long as he could until the fire chief got there and between the two of them they saved three dogs and a cat, and headed to the nearest truck stop. We all slept in a Honda accord. At the time we let a gentlemen who we barely knew slept on our couch as he was about to be homeless and nearest family member was 3000 miles away. Red Cross helped us out with some clothing and a few nights in a hotel. After the guy on the couch took off with the donation money we did recieve the Red Cross agreed to pay one months rent, but we had to come up with the deposit which was due on Tuesday, and get the utilities on in our name which we have not been able to do either, and getting help from the government I just get turned around in circles. Yes we have a roof over our heads but nothing to fill the place as nothing is salvageable. We don't even have a can opener to open food that we got from the Salvation Army yesterday and don't have anything to cook it in or eat off of. At a loss beginning to loose hope.... Tried to keep my spirits up but it's one thing after another. A lady sneezed us in with an appointment to get our food stamps this morning but the car ran out of gas and we were stranded and weren't able to make it to the appointment. I'm wondering will God ever give us a break.....
