Hello Everyone -
When I was 32 years old I met the love of my life. I had a pretty tough road with dating and losing my teaching job because I could not pass a standardized test to get my certification. So when I met my future husband and being "older" we knew right from the day we got married that we were going to start a family. Well it took us 2 years of doctors appointments and medical treatments to find out there we have "unexplained infertility" our Doctor kept saying "it should be working..." On January 3, 2010 we went in for our first IUI treatment. On January 15, 2010 we found out we were pregnant with twins. We were estatic - even more so when the girls were born on August 23, 2010. It was an amazing day. A year after the girls were born, we decided to try IUI again 2ce to grow our family and it failed. Now, many of you are thinking "you have two beautiful girls be happy with what you have" - THIS IS TRUE. We are very happy, we love our girls "to the moon and back" and this is why we wanted to expand our family. Plus, seeing the girls with babies and knowing that they want a brother or sister is something that breaks our hearts because we can not easily do it. We know how the twins will feel when we bring home a brother or sister for them; they will be thrilled - as will we.
I am trying this fund raising because we were blessed to receive some fertility medicine out of the blue from my husband's cousin. We thought this was a sign that we had to try again - one more time. After doing the research and finding out that will cost us around $5,000.00 to do another cycle we looked at our budget and started saving, but we are getting no where fast. Then I started looking for grants and came across this site, we figured, why not? What is the worst that can happen - nothing. We figured the best thing that could happen is that we receive some gifts. Thank you for taking the time to read this,
