Facing homelessness, help me secure housing

.Hello everyone, I am in need of help. In 2018 I moved to NYC to start my life over. I was staying with a friend and was supposed to be there until 9/2019 and then relocate to Philadelphia and teach. Fortunately for her but , unfortunately for me, she meet someone, fell in love and he and his child moved in leaving me homeless in NYC in the dead of winter. Since then i have crashed/ couch served with various folks with no place to go. I’m trapped, at various people’s mercy. Forced to pay whatever is demanded or hit the bricks. I’m drowning here and under immense pressure. This is literally torture. I need my own home, i just want to be safe, stable and have a happy life. Please help me reach my goal and secure my own home. I would be so thankful to those who can do contribute anything to help me. Thank you
