Facing Eviction February 1st 2013

Hello Everyone, Thank you so much for reading. I am a 27 year old female who is about to be evicted on February 1^st If I don’t come up with $1,061.00. First off, I have never asked for help and if I wasn’t at the end of my ropes and scared to death, I wouldn’t be asking.  My whole life has been a financial struggle but I always kept a smile on my face. From the time I began working at 15, my abusive alcoholic father stole every one of my paychecks, ran up credit cards in my name and had to literally run for my life about two years ago and go into hiding 2,000 miles away from home. I came here with a tiny suitcase and my resume, found a job after 2 weeks and got my own apartment after 2 months. I stayed on a strangers couch until I could afford my own place. I was so excited to have my own place to call home, start paying off my debt (aka my father’s debt), have things that I needed and live comfortably and independently without physical and mental abuse. About a month ago I got laid off. I sucked up my pride enough to apply for assistance but have not gotten approved for anything yet and Feb 1^st is vastly approaching. I worked very hard to get everything I have and I am so afraid to lose it all and end up with nothing again. I have been looking for a job constantly but to no avail and it’s so late now that even if I found a great job, I wouldn’t get paid fast enough to pay my rent. I have always helped everyone I’ve met, stranger or not, when I was able to and now that I need the help, I hope there are people out there like me. If I was able to pay the next months rent it would give me enough time to get back on my feet.
