Face lift to our Digital Literacy Unit

Sky Net interactive has been the center of excellence in the provision of ICT services to the general public of the small village town of Oyugis in the Nyanza region Kenya. It is the most preferred ICT hub in Kasipul Constituency serving a population of not less than 90,000 people annually. Apart from the provision of ICT services, we have a charity wing where we train and an incubation center where we nurture the local vulnerable girl and boy child on skills that will propel them into the future as productive adults.

We are currently operating in a very tiny space approximately 20x30feet that cannot house all services. Our wish is to increase contact with the people who need our services. To effectively reach and serve the intended population, we need an expansive space. To get the space, we either need to rent or build our own, building our own being our most preferred option. Unfortunately, because most of our services are voluntary, we have very little savings thus doing this on our own is a far fetched dream.

I believe in the spirit of collective responsibility, collective giving, and collective production. In my local language, we have a saying that goes "The only way to do great work is to love what you do", I love what I do at Sky Net, I love to share the little that I have with the deserving population. I believe that no act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted. That is the reason why I need you to support me in this course.

Statistically, if i could only build an office double the current size, I will be able to server double the population, I will be able to double my support to the needy, and I will be able to double the ones i nurture too.
