The world class diving site in the world, Raja Ampat, the sea, the water and the people in it are facing a tremendous impact of COVID-19. When the virus spreading, the world is stop, big cities collapsed. Think again how this problem worsen in remote area paradise-like islands, Raja Ampat.

Million traveler came annually to generate income for people. COVID-19 has created a historic recession with record levels of deprivation and unemployment. Thousands of people now unable to provide their basic needs. There is an urgency to address basic needs as well as community and local healthcare preparedness to respond Covid-19. In the mid to longer term, a need to develop alternative employment

While the 3 million hectares of marine protected area where the center of coral triangle was left by visitors. The ocean is now possibly threaten by destructive fishing again.

Offering the solution, Kurabesi Nusantara -a social enterprise on sustainable tourism- ready to take an action. Our idle liveaboard turned into voluntary patrol boat and medical supply for local community and local healthcare worker. Our first donation of mask, face shield, PPE and hand-sanitizer, also educative posters, goes to people in the island.
