Extend your Mercy: Help the Super Typhoon Odette (RAI) Victims in Mindanao, Philippines

Life is uncertain, we cannot predict what will happen for the humanity. We always pray for good but we cannot deny there are circumstances that can change our lives.

On December 16, 2021, the super typhoon odette(RAI) hit the two Islands in Philippines that claimed lives and destroyed properties that brought misery and disappointment of the people who are badly affected by the wrath of the natural disaster. It is remembered that December 16, was the anniversary of the super typhoon Sendong that hit also all over Mindanao on December 16, 2011.

December is the month of gladness but turned into sadness, when many people felt the pain brought by the Super Typhoon Odette. Instead of celebrating the holiday season, they had been frustrated of what was happened in their lives. The Aftermath of the calamity is unforgettable and unacceptable for them. Some of the families lost their love ones, properties and their livelihoods.

Suffering, struggles and hopelessness are the bad memory that the super typhoon Oddete (RAI) left. No foods, no shelter, no medicine. They are living in the evacuation centers and waiting for the food packs and donations. Elders, children and people with disability are the most affected since they cannot survive of their situation.

For this, Tribes and Natures Defenders Inc. is calling your kind hearts and mercy to be with us during this time. We need to respond the needs of the victims of the calamity. Help us to provide them foods, medicine, personal hygiene kit and shelter materials for them so survive and start back to their normal life.

All the proceeds of this fundraising will be used to buy rice, canned goods, personal hygiene kits, shelter materials. This is the time to show our love to the needy victims and your donations will make a big difference. Any small amount will be useful for the immediate survival of the affected communities.
