Exchange year in Belgium

Hey!

My name is Michał Goch. I am 17 years old, I come from a small village and live in Lublin. Here I go to III High School, here I live and act socially here! At every step, I find opportunities to work on myself, experience something new, meet new people. I had an internship on television on the program "The Voice of Poland", I participated in the deliberations of the Polish parliament, I performed with the choir "Kantylena" on the stage of the National Forum of Music in Wroclaw and hosted Viktor - my host brother from Germany as part of international exchange. Appetite comes with eating. I want to do something bigger!

On my way there is an international organization AFS Intercultural Programs, under which it is possible to go to one of several dozen countries for intercultural exchange for a school year. It's something for me!

I applied, participated in a recruitment camp, got results.

My next second home is Flemish Belgium, in which I will have (let's keep our fingers crossed!) a loving host family, new friends from all over the world and where I will spend, as older colleagues swear, who have returned from exchange, the most beautiful time in their lives.

Unfortunately, as you probably guessed, the only obstacle to achieving my biggest goal is money. The cost of the entire program is 5,800 euros. This amount in Poland is often a payment for the entire year at work. However, I do not give up! For a long time I have been looking for organizations, companies, people who want to give young people the chance to develop, get to know themselves and experience a beautiful adventure. I want to prove to myself, my parents, everybody I care about and want to be able to. I want to fulfill my dream! I do not want my parents, apart from worrying about the fact that their son is leaving for the whole year, they were also worried about the fact that it is a considerable expense.

That is why I have a goal: to gather here, with you, together, EUR 1500

I have two weeks to collect at least a part of this great amount for me, that the parents could sign the contract with a smile on their faces and proud that their son is drawn to the world and that he tries his strength everywhere!

I do not want to stop these experiences just for myself. I would like to create a YouTube channel where I will share my life with other people who are curious about the world. I want to show Belgian culture through thematic vlogs that will be created together with other exchange participants from around the world. Sounds serious? Easy, I'm not going to bore you! I promise that the first videos from the preparation of these mental ones will appear soon!

During my exchange I would like to take part as a participant in the Belgian version of The Voice, which is very popular in Poland. I know how this program looks like technically now I want to know what emotions accompany a participant who stands on stage in front of his family, friends and, indeed, the whole country.

You can help me with this. These few euros will bring me closer to my goal. Let the magic of small numbers work, it is strength in them!
