Hi, I'm Jodie. A 21 year old female.
I moved to Bristol two years ago to start university, after completing my first year I decided it wasn't for me and as I'd already got a full time job I thought life in Bristol would be pretty sweet.
Unfortunately that wasn't the case, I'd signed a contract for an 8 bed student house and I wasn't able to get out of it. There were attempts to get someone to sign over my contract, unfortunately each time I was let down by individual students and so as it stands I am still in the student house being the only one liable for the entire council tax bill (1,098.71 - 20% single person discount)
Having just come out of university in a fair bit of debt having being 'young and dumb' I took a loan out which I'm repaying £300 a month ontop of my monthly outgoings - my full time job doesn't pay great and this is where the council tax has slipped and has amounted to a hefty amount.
I'm also in a position where my contract is coming to an end (31st August) and have to save money to move into another NONstudent house - I don't think my new house mates would appreciate a near enough £1000 council tax bill through the door.
I almost feel as though I'm begging, but anything would be greatly appreciated. I wouldn't want anyone who doesn't have it to give, but if you have spare I would be forever greatful.
