Everyone needs a friend

I recently lost my best friend a Great Dane he died sleeping with me in the night, he had only been sick for a week and we never really found out what he died from, and I spent quit a bit on vet bills trying to save him. In the last couple of years he has been my life saver and a comfort through some tough times, My mother was diagnosed with lung cancer a year ago and then to top it off I have a son in his 20's was diagnosed with Schizophrenia which I can get little help for and lives at home. I thought I was a strong person, not so sure anymore. I really want to give a new puppy a home with me but I just started a new job and want to get a second job to pay for him, but not at the expense of losing my bill paying job. We are a family who lives pay check to pay check and sometime cant even all of them paid.this request is very self serving and I know there are many many people who are more deserving of a gift then me, but I cant come up with the money by November when he is due to come home with me. So if there is anyone out there who understands how much a pet can help you and feel like you have a purpose please let me know!!!
