Everyone is Beautiful Photography & Book Project.

Hello,  As a Photographer in the Portland area, I see the struggle for beauty daily. Television ads, movies and magazines define beauty for the masses. My thought process is that everyone is beautiful in their own way. I need your help showing this to be true. 

I need funding to help create a book showing that women who are somehow not the same as societies view of perfection due to damage.  This can be damage physically, or mentally. Circumstances due to war, child birth, surgery, disease or complexes issues, are still very beautiful.

Models include those damaged from War, missing limbs, internal organ damage, those born without limbs, fire damage, one woman born with organs on the outside, and now having her own child, and even those with Lupus and MS, who have issues moving on a daily basis.   

I am putting together a small network of people to help; volunteer their time, their skill, their hearts, but there are still costs. Costs include; studio time and costs, equipment fees, a wheelchair ramp, gas money, feeding the team that is helping, gas money and/or handicap transport fees for those who cannot walk or drive, make up cost, etc. 

Each participant is invited at no cost to themselves. We also want to be able to give the participants not only digital edits of the before / after shots, but we would love to be able to give them a copy of the finished book.  Also if possible some print credits to share with their family, or a 16x20 canvas for their home.

I can't do this alone, I don't have the funds. I personally have been liquidating my own stuff to pay bills and keep going each month. I need your help, we can't do it without you!
