Every Kid Deserves A Better Home

Have you ever wondered where do all your donations to the charity go? All the donations that you have made through different causes, whether the donation boxes in gas stations, convenience stores or retail shops, do these money go to where it supposed to be? According to a research in America, more than 2/3 of Americans donated to charity in 2000 while just 55.5% gave to charitable causes.

My name is Lai Ann, am very very blessed to have roof over my head and shoes on my feet. Just like anyone of you here, I've been making donations to different charity organizations locally and internationally, and all of us want to make the most responsible donation possible. And I am very fortunate to have known a team of amazing souls -- my mentor and dear friends & family who are the founder, trustees and volunteers of this charity called HGiving. HGiving is a nonprofit organisation based in London and Kenya. Every day, 2.6 million starving orphaned children roam the streets of Kenya. This year, I'd love to contribute to an amazing cause in a different way by joining my dear family to be a volunteer and head out to our orphanage to spend some time with our children in Kenya and emerge ourselves in the Kenyan lifestyle and culture. I always appreciate beautiful opportunities to step outside my comfort zone, contribute to an amazing cause and open my mind to understanding how other cultures experience their daily life.
