Eva’s African Volunteer Trip

I am currently studying International Relations and Human Rights at University. I am volunteering in Tanzania over the summer, working with an NGO to teach English to women and children as part of their program to empower Women in Africa.

As well as studying full time this year I've been working part time to save the money for the travel component - travel turns out to be a lot more expensive this year than I expected it to be!

This fundraiser is to support the program contribution fees that I need to pay as a volunteer, to cover the costs of my accommodation and meals and internal travel whilst I am in Africa over the summer holiday break.

If anybody has any tips they can share with me before I leave in November that would also be much appreciated.
