The tournament will be played according to the Swiss System in 9 rounds, with time control 90 minutes for the first 40 moves followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game with an addition of 30 seconds per move starting from move one.
Funds are needed to sponsor the costs of each of the 6 individual juniors, that will be used to cover flight expenses, overnight stays, tournament entrance fees, team clothing etc.
Last year was a great success having the support of many including our President of Malta. Please be as generous as you can be to help make this another success for these young, talented and up and coming future chess players. Donations no matter however large or small will be greatly appreciated by these junior participants.
