Europe 2014 (A Setback)

I need help, but I also want to help others. Please read on. Imagine being on the edge of seeing a dream come to fruiton. Every detail of the plan is set and all that remains is to put it into action. Then, in an instant, something goes wrong. What was so certain only moments before now seems a distant fantasy. Your dream has become a nightmare and all hope seems lost. The goal was to visit family in Europe, followed by a tour of some of its most famous cities. Unfortunately, unforeseen circumstances resulted in the loss of $1300 that was essential to the budget of the trip. This setback is what brings me here. It is not typically in my nature to beg for help, but in this case, I see no other choice. I'm a poor college kid who lost what he worked so hard to earn. This is my request. Whether it's 1300 people giving a dollar each, or hundred 130 people giving 10, everything helps. I'm asking anyone who is willing and able to donate what they can to help. It goes beyond this though. I've allowed for donations above the goal in order to do something for someone else. Any excess raised will be donated to a children's hospital that means a great deal to myself and the family I was planning to visit.
