Campaign Story
Dear Friends, Family, and Humboldt County Community members,
We are excited to announce that Stacy Escalante and Micha DeNizio in collaboration with the Calvary Lutheran Church have been awarded a grant through First 5 Humboldt to hold a Friday morning playgroup. The Eureka playgroup is free to caregivers and their children ages 0-5. It is a wonderful space with a self contained play room, kitchenette, and outdoor play structure. Families will get to participate in gardening on site and snacks and beverages will be provided. While the awarded grant covers materials, supplies and stipends it does not account for all of the expenses that allow for this playgroup. Please support Calvary Lutheran Church in being able to provide this invaluable community service!
