Eula’s College Tuition

My Name is Eula Francis here…I’m a freshman at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I am on a pre-med track in hopes to become an Obstetrician. Before I went to college, I participated in a science program called Project Innovation, where as a team, we all developed and brainstormed ways to help our communities become more green.

I also worked at the Adler Planetarium as a telescope Intern and I participated in their Teen Hangouts where we partipated in engineering and science based activites. I also served on their Youth Leadership Council, where a group of teens and I worked together to bring more science to teens and children in neighborhoods across Chicago.

As much as exciting and great it was to partake in those activites, I was also excited to begin a new chapter of my life and begin college. However, it was also huge concern for my parents and I. I am a DACA student which means I am unable to apply for the FAFSA and applying for scholarships that I am eligible for are very hard to find. I was able to pay many fees through some scholarships and other financial assistance.

Throughout my first semester it was very tough to figure out how to pay for the rest of my tuition and I even tried applying for loans which was very unsuccessful. My parents are currently financially unstable as they are trying to figure out how to pay back some loans.

I’m raising a donation of $35,000 goal for my college tuition from the Public, individuals, organizations.

The money I raise will be used to help finish covering my semester fees. I am in urgent need of help from anyone who gives no matter how big or small the donation; anything helps. In hopes of continuing my education and pursuing my dream of becoming an obstetrician, I need your help.
