Eugene Oregon Travel and Rescue

As far as it goes I've been across the country and back many times, that would include pleasure, sight seeing and visiting friends. All of this ambition to travel comes from the want and will to find a place that suits me and as of yet, I don't think I've found it. When I was 14 my father and I had our differences and sent me on my way. I never had time to develop that will to root myself and I never found it in myself to stick to one place. Currently I live in Denver, CO. and when I had first arrived here I had thought, that just for a moment I had found that place...A place where I could be of use, a place that wanted me and what I had to offer and just as of late I have found that I'm now needed else where. With your assitance and support I can again travel to help and support and perhaps I'll find where I'm needed and wanted at last.   On the western coast of the United States lives a family. A father, a mother and a 2 year old son. This family..(The father and mother)...I have known since before I left Ohio to start my journey. Now mind you I have struggled; it's hard not to considering my circumstances but as far as that goes this family stuggles more. They lack the life skills to progress towards a more substantial income and they have been induced at a very young age into bringing up a child. It's rough to raise your kid at such an age without help. The mother of the relationship is very much like me. Differing lifestyles have caused alienation from family causing a lack of support. For a young mother that can be very hard. The father trys his best to bring in money to feed the family but as we all know, a job can be hard to find and keep if wages are low and you have a child at home to care for. These are not parents that have resorted to drug use. These are not parents that are suffering from a lack of trying. These are two beautiful, friendly and caring people that have been put in    With all of this in mind I have taken it on myself to go join the people that were there for me, even at a distance in this time of need. I will lay down everything I have here in Colorado, my job, my home and my relationships with friends to traverse the country once again to offer my support whether it be by financial support, help around the house or any other means I can muster. I know how hard it is to live in this world. To be cut off from family ties and to have few friends that can offer aid. I have wished so many times that someone could come to my aid. To support me when I needed it most. As far as it goes, I think with the help of everyone here, with the support of the commiunity, with the support of people who care I can really make an impact on this family and help lead them out of the dire situation that not only the parents face but the child as well.   With all of this stated I reach out to the community at large.
